CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers have plenty of goodies to share. With Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s attacker dealt with barring an escape and further storylines, we need another mystery.
Leave it to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to find a good one.

Since seeing his chance to prove himself to his family taken away thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) pushing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to accept the position as acting CEO of Newman Enterprises, it seems fitting that he’d find a potential weapon while on vacation.
In a quirk of fate, we expect Adam to cross paths with his childhood friend, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomineco). The two will exchange stories about their past, including Adam’s stepfather and her father. More than memories are shared as the wheels will start to spin in Adam’s mind when Alyssa mentions her father, AJ, was a loan shark who was in jail when Adam’s stepfather died.
After she leaves, he has a moment with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) where he explains remembering seeing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in town the same day Alyssa’s father was killed.
The idea that Victor may have had something to do with AJ’s death, or that AJ may have worked for Victor gives him the ammunition he needs. The question then becomes will he use it?
He wanted to oust Nick from the CEO seat, but blackmailing his father would prove he’s been in this for himself from the beginning. Will he actually do it or try another method?
Losing Faith
After a wicked sounding cliffhanger between Nick and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), we’ll discover things aren’t as grave with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Her problems are still serious as Rey will learn she’s been ditching classes and mouthing off to teachers.
Her mother’s cancer has been a heavy burden to bear, and while she’s looked haggard lately, she seemed to be handling it well. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was concerned, but she had so much going on she may have missed some telltale signs.
Under the circumstances, it’s understandable, but she’ll still blame herself on some level.
Until then it’s up to Rey to save the day, and he handles it well by not lecturing Faith, but trying to show he understands. Still, teenagers can be difficult in the best of times, and an adult male historically has trouble with teenage women, so he’ll probably seek out some help.
In this case, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe he’ll enlist his sister, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). This could prove interesting considering everything Lola has been going through, but Rey’s options are limited. Especially if he wants to spare Sharon the stress of dealing with this.
Tessa dumps Mariah
Who wasn’t expecting this? Out of all the current storylines, this is the one that was practically etched in stone. We can expect Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to try her best from apologizing, begging for forgiveness/another chance, and proclaiming her everlasting love, but none of it will work.
Given how Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) made sure the guidelines were clearly drawn with her ex-husband, Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman). She resisted because she had faith in her relationship with Mariah, but now?
Sure, it can be argued that Tessa should try to understand Mariah better, but it can equally be argued that Mariah should’ve trusted Tessa more. Considering Mariah will claim Tessa’s the love of her life gives the advantage to Tessa’s argument.
In the end, this could result in Tessa and Tanner getting back together for a while, but CBS The Young and the Restless expect Mariah and Tessa to get back together at some point. They were too cute and perfect together.
Nothing like starting the week off with a bang, huh? Looks like things are going to get interesting before too long, and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers will be here throughout with spoilers, updates, and speculations.
