Alrighty, things are getting interesting and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers have some juicy spoilers to share.
Let’s set the mood. Genua City is locked in an ice storm, which has effectively separated most parties throughout the city. While this may lead to less antagonism for many, some will find a way.
Chaos knows no bounds, right?
Ashley returns and confronts Jack
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has had a fun couple of days as he’s had to deal with the news that Dina Abbott (Marla Adams)’s failing health. It seems like Jack won this week’s prize to be the writer’s whipping boy, as Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has once more graced the streets of Genoa City with her presence.
Why is she there and what kind of mayhem is she planning?
Well, that’s been an interesting topic on social media among fans, and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe we may have pieced it together.
Since she had shown interest in Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson)’s ambition and other qualities during her previous visit, which led to Jack bringing him into Jabot to spite her, we feel this is the most likely scenario. Of course, since Theo’s trying to push Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) aside, what she could offer him may be limited. Unless she convinces Jack it’s time for him to run the company. It may be a reach, but it’s always possible.
Who’s to say he hasn’t been keeping tabs on everything and letting Ashley know. Given they just lost a backer and Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King)’s relationship has been taking up their time, he would have plenty of information to offer her and make himself look better.
The question is how much fight is left in Jack at the moment, or will he concede just to get rid of her and move into retirement full time?
Should be worth the price of admission to see, right?
Chloe catches Kevin
For one of the few times in recent memory, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is doing something helpful that should leave him hands clean of any trouble. After all, he’s helping Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) deal with his current Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)-sized headache, and that’s something he should be commended for.
But (And there’s always a but, unlocked door, or discussion in a public place about these things) Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)’s hovering around and she’d undoubtedly be curious to what he’s up to.
Now, Kevin may be a capable liar to most, but Chloe can read him inside and out without trying. She’s knows him too well not to, and he’s going to be hard pressed not to divulge what he’s doing.
If he does crack, or worse, keep his secret, will Chloe leave it at that, or will she investigate herself. And if she figures things out, will she keep it to herself?
