WWE Monday Night Raw rolls on following AJ Styles’ defeat of Aleister Black. Ruby Riott backstage says people make and break promises every day. The only person she’s responsible for is herself. She proved to the world that there will be no friends in the Elimination Chamber. Liv Morgan comes out for a match with Riott up next. Aaaand outta nowhere, Sarah Logan is the special referee for this match, completing the Riott Squad explosion.
Liv Morgan vs. Ruby Riott (Special Referee: Sarah Logan)
Bell rings, Ruby swiftly takes Morgan into the corner, Liv reverses and delivers some forearms. Second rope dropkick from Liv, charging body block, snapmare for a 2 count. Gets her down in a side headlock, Riott gets her legs to the ropes to force a break. Riott slams Liv’s head into the top turnbuckle, kick to the face! Into the ring for a knee to the face. Pulls her up by the hair for a cravate. Ruby eventually takes her to the corner and stomps her into the ropes.
Liv evades her in the corner, roll-up for a quick 2 count. Forearms to the face, hits the ropes, Riott ducks her, Flatliner for a nearfall! The kickout sends Riott slamming into Logan. Ruby doesn’t look particularly apologetic, turns and blindsides Liv with a lariat to the back of the head. Chant of “Sarah Logan” as Ruby gets in her face, runs her down for her counting. As Riott bickers with her, Liv rolls her up – Logan opts to fast count her!
Winner: Liv Morgan
Afterwards, Riott gets in Logan’s face again. Logan shoves her, Liv gets Riott with a charging dropkick! But Logan turns right around and drives a knee into her head to lay her out! Amazingly, somehow, some way, Sarah Logan stands tall in this segment for perhaps the first time in her entire WWE career.
Backstage, Randy Orton is creepily lurking. Seems like the segment in which Beth Phoenix will be coming out is up next, she’ll be giving us an update on the medical condition of her husband Edge later tonight. We haven’t seen hide or hair of the Rated R Superstar since Orton laid him out with a Conchairto the night after his dramatic and special return at the 2020 Royal Rumble event. Some have theorized that Edge might be making his return tonight.
