It is Friday night, which means another episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown is soon at hand! Tonight, ahead of their Hall of Fame induction, the nWo will be making a special appearance on A Moment Of Bliss with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross! My name is Jordan Huie and you are here with us at the Overtimer! As always, you can expect the full coverage for tonight’s show, meaning live results and recaps from the event as it airs, plus a preview of everything that’s been announced! With no further ado, let’s get to it!
The famed nWo – represented by Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & X-Pac – will be appearing tonight on A Moment Of Bliss.
Last time we saw Alexa Bliss host her personal talk show, A Moment Of Bliss, she lowkey achieved something that I’m not sure has ever happened before. A historic moment that’s bound to be unjustly lost to time everywhere else but here. Alexa had the Bella Twins on her show to announce their own upcoming Hall of Fame inductions as well as their simultaneous pregnancies… and there wasn’t a single malicious interruption. Nor did either of her guests attack her in a fit of rage or find the same thing happen to them.
Instead it parlayed directly into Daniel Bryan coming out holding his and Brie’s child, en route to an easy match with Heath Slater. That was it. Nothing messy happened whatsoever. The show actually went off without a hitch. I kinda can’t imagine this feat has ever been achieved before. It’s a startling new precedent that, for all I know may well continue into tonight’s iteration. The nWo will be her guests tonight, and since none of them are named Nikki, that means Alexa’s sidekick Nikki Cross gets to be there as well!
The New World Order is indeed being inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Though it seems less like the truly famous one and more the short-lived 2002 WWE incarnation that’s being represented here. I mean Hogan, Hall, Nash and X-Pac as the sole four only happened in the lead-up to WrestleMania 18. X-Pac was the sixth member of the original nWo, a fact that’s pretty easy to remember given that they named him Syxx. Anyway, we’ll see what they have to say here tonight and if they go without being interrupted by like, Sami Zayn’s group or whatever.
