WWE Monday Night Raw continues. After running off Angel Garza and Andrade, the Raw tag champs the Street Profits now face Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink in a non-title bout.
WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. Shane Thorne & Brendan Vink (Non-title)
Angelo Dawkins gets Thorne with a big shoulder block. Montez tags in, charging dropkick, kip-up, starts rapidly applauding. Open handed chop in the corner. Another one, and he mocks Thorne by selling his own chest. Thorne escapes a corner charge, tags in Vink who comes in plowing right through him. Body slam, cover for a 2 count. Holds him down for a while, drives him into the corner to tag to Thorne. Big cannonball in the corner for a nearfall! Fishhooks the mouth and claws the nose. Stomp to the small of the back. Vink tags in, grabs the legs of Ford, flips him up to his feet, Ford surprises him with a dropkick. Simultaneous tags, Dawkins with an overhead belly to belly to Vink, Flapjack to Thorne, spinning clotheslines to both men, Cash Out, Ford tags in, nails his From The Heavens frog splash and that’s the match.
Winners: The Street Profits
Didn’t expect these two to appear on Raw, but nothing wrong with that match.
We then see a video of Riddick Moss, hilariously jogging shirtless with the 24/7 Championship around his waist, when a car rolls up next to him. He stops the car, noticing that it’s a ref – in full ref gear – in there and he demands to know who’s with him and where he is. Everything about this is ridiculous already. As Moss questions the ref and glances around with his fists raised, out comes R-Truth from the trunk. He rolls Moss up and takes the title.
Ah… so it finally happened. Yes everyone, the day is here. The historic, legendary, longest 24/7 title reign in history comes to a close. This is one of those nights that will simply stick with you forever. You’ll be telling your grandkids about this. Where were you when Riddick Moss lost the 24/7 championship? Hm… at home, probably, odds are. R-Truth tells Riddick, “Go back to the NFL Randy Moss!” before getting back in the car and driving off. Moss then turns to deal with the ref again and the camera cuts away mid-sentence but I’m assuming he murdered that referee off-screen.
