The WWE Network is one of the biggest archives in wrestling history. With tons of classic and modern PPV events, TV shows and documentary series, it is almost impossible to watch it all. Now is the time to try however. With people trapped in their homes due to the fear of COVID-19, WWE has taken this chance to open up their catalog to anyone interested. They’ve always offered trials, but this won’t even require that.
WWE Makes A Statement
To advertise and explain this move, they have made a post to WWE.com about this.
“Beginning today, WWE is pleased to unlock a vast portion of the WWE Network library and extend free access to thousands of hours of extraordinary on-demand content, including every WrestleMania in history, countless pay-per-view spectaculars, original documentaries and more, for a limited time.
This unprecedented offering to WWE fans worldwide includes each epic installment to date of WrestleMania, plus, every Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series event; every NXT TakeOver and NXT UK TakeOver; and groundbreaking originals such as the entire WWE 24 docuseries, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interview show, the recent five-episode hit, WWE Ruthless Aggression, and its 20-episode predecessor, The Monday Night War series.
Also included: Recent episodes of Monday Night Raw & Friday Night SmackDown, every episode of WWE Untold, A Future WWE: The FCW Story, and much much more.
A Great Marketing Move
This will provide any Wrestling fan with a huge backlog to watch, albeit with limitations. They have also offered 3 month trials for any lapsed accounts, and the usual 30 day free trial for signing up. With Wrestlemania 36 so close, this is a great way to get as many people as possible using the Network, getting a record breaking attendance of digital fans for the first ever (and hopefully last) no attendance Wrestlemania. This could help a lot with keeping people occupied and distracted during social isolation & quarantine scenarios. It makes sense from all angles, and frankly it is shocking to see WWE do something like this. They mentioned a limited time, but no end date, so we shall keep you posted on that. Will you be taking advantage of this access from WWE? What is on your list to watch? Let us know in the comment section down below.
