As previously reported, WWE has been aggressively taping content for Wrestlemania 36, including most title matches. This would include the 5 way elimination match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, where champion Bayley was set to defend against Sasha Banks, Tamina, Naomi, and Lacey Evans. Dana Brooke was also planned for the match but was removed due to her entering quarantine. Since the tapings would have concluded, a new picture of Sasha Banks as Smackdown Women’s Champion popped up on Twitter but was quickly deleted. Sasha Banks has been known to troll her fanbase, is this the case or is this just the first leaked spoiler?
Sasha Banks Is The Favorite To Win This Match
With Bayley having defeated everyone else in this planned match, and having broken all possible records as Smackdown Women’s Champion, it is time for a change. Fans are ready for it, and switching the belt to Sasha is a great way to do it and build to a big match between old rivals at Summerslam in Boston. The Smackdown title is also the only one Sasha needs for a Grand Slam, having won the RAW, NXT, and Tag Titles in the past.
It is a new attire meaning this picture was taken recently, but this could easily be a red herring from Sasha Banks. People are on the look out for spoilers, and this is a quick way to have some fun with her obsessive fanbase. It was posted fairly late at night and deleted quickly, but fans were able to grab it before deletion. With her and Bayley being best friends on-screen and off, it wouldn’t be hard to have Sasha pose with the championship for a quick picture.

With no fans at this years edition of Wrestlemania, it is talent and crew who will be the ones posting spoilers for the event. While the show is likely going to go through heavy editing, all content was meant to be filmed this week and would have concluded on Thursday. Fans don’t know what to expect, as stars like Roman Reigns who were in major matches have been confirmed to be off the show.
