WWE Superstars live a hectic lifestyle full of travel, with them going all over the world every year for shows and other events. When you become a big name like Becky Lynch has, that doubles as you get on TV programs and appear as an ambassador for the company. Because of this, you would assume that the threat of COVID-19 would have impacted things for WWE, but according to Lynch herself it is business as usual backstage.
Becky Lynch Realizes You Need To Remain Calm
While speaking with TV Insider, Lynch was asked about the atmosphere backstage with WWE. “It’s business as usual. I think we’re constantly meeting different people. We’re constantly shaking hands. We know to use hand sanitizer. We’re always exposed to so many different bacteria in our lives and so many different countries. You can’t freak out about any of this stuff. You have to continue on and hope for the best.” is what Lynch had to say on this topic.
When you are as well traveled as someone in WWE, your body has to get used to fending off unfamiliar entities, and you get used to ensuring you remain as safe as possible. Especially with meet & greet events, they come in contact with thousands of fans every year, you would hope they know how to handle this by now.
The Man Speaks On Shayna Baszler
No matter if Wrestlemania happens in April or later this year, there will come a day when Becky Lynch comes face to face with her Number One Contender, Shayna Baszler. Baszler tore through Elimination Chamber to earn her shot, and a pandemic won’t be enough to prevent her from getting this match. In that same interview, she was asked about Shayna. “It’s a different animal with Shayna Baszler. The thing about Shayna is whatever you want to say about it, she has been wrestling longer. She is the one who got Ronda into wrestling because she was such a huge fan. We also haven’t seen what she can truly do on Raw.”
She would go on to say since she could tame Ronda, Shayna will just be another notch on her reign as RAW Women’s Championship. It will be a true test of Lynch, and fans are eager to see them clash.
