At Wrestlemania 36, it was a unique set of nights for sure. It was the first time Wrestlemania had no fans, but that didn’t chance how much impact it had on the people involved. They were doing it for the fans everywhere, as well as their selves. One man who was especially moved by the moment is Austin Theory, who has recently been rushed from NXT to the main roster, where he is aligned with Andrade & Angel Garza. He challenged for the RAW Tag Team Championships alongside Garza, failing to defeat The Street Profits. Theory stepped up in a big way, and afterwards took a moment to reflect.
It’s As Big As It Gets
As someone who grew up on wrestling, getting to compete at Wrestlemania was huge for Austin Theory. This also would happen very fast for Theory, just mere months after making his NXT debut. He hadn’t even gotten on an NXT Takeover before getting to Wrestlemania. It was a very fast moving week for him, as the match was originally going to be Andrade & Garza, but Andrade wasn’t cleared after a rib injury. This caused a last minute change, with Zelina Vega scouting out Theory as a new client.
Even after the loss, he was still buzzing with energy because he got to wrestle at Wrestlemania. It showed that he is always ready for any chance, as many would buckle under the pressure of a situation like he was thrust into. Even after everything shut down, he remained in peak shape and stayed up to date with WWE just in case. This clearly paid off in a huge way.
What Is Next For Austin Theory?
While the short term puts Austin Theory in the Money In The Bank qualifying match against Aleister Black, Austin Theory made a bold prediction on what is next for his career. He wants to be on Wrestlemania next year, in-front of a screaming crowd in Hollywood. He is still officially part of the NXT Roster, but his hard work for WWE on Monday Night RAW could change this and have him as a steady member of the roster going forward. The potential is all there for Austin Theory, and his potential has little cap. Do you think Austin Theory will be at Wrestlemania 37? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
