Nothing like a relaxing day of celebration and motivation following victory, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are here will the fun gossip, so let’s get things started.

Phyllis pays a visit
Of all the pairs to come together, it’s kind of surprising to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) coming together without some kind of guns blazing. Guess it’s a sign of the times?
It’s even more interesting to see Phyllis so in tune and in good enough standing with the Abbotts and Newmans that she can show up and not be tasered and tossed out right away. Just like a good disease, she knows how to stick around, and it looks like she’s going to surprise Jack with a visit.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers believe she’ll be looking to see how things are going, but really to get some insight into how she should handle her current problem.
After battling Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to a stalemate, she now wants to help her current beau Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) solve his Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) problem at Newman Enterprises. To do that, she needs something she can use to force Adam out of the CEO chair, but Abby isn’t looking too interested in parting with the flashdrive and the recorded conversation therein.
This doesn’t mean Jack won’t have some insight or way of motivating Phyllis to achieve her goals. In fact, he may remind her of all she accomplished, including how big a pain in the backside she’s been. If that fails, he could point out his situation at Jabot and home, and explain how things have a way of working out in the end.
However he does it, we can expect a fully motivated and aggressive Phyllis going forward.
The celebration
While Jack is offering his advice, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are expected to be celebrating their hardest and burning some calories.
Now that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is no longer a threat, or perceived threat, nothing’s holding them back unless Jack puts his foot down at some point.
While they’re expressing themselves, it begs the question how fast before the ground beneath them gives way? This is usually the time when something big is coming for the happy couple, so could Theo make a return in some way? Maybe as a chief rival after joining the “honorable” side Kyle touts, or he could even hook up with someone darker and more vengeful-minded than he is and set out to take over Jabot.
They’re currently running the same storyline back to back on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” so why not here? They’re both run by the same people. Just a thought.
