WWE Monday Night Raw continues and now we have a rematch from the WrestleMania weekend, as Angel Garza and Austin Theory once more take on the Street Profits here in our next match.
WWE Raw Tag Team Championships: The Street Profits (c) vs. Angel Garza & Austin Theory
Theory and Dawkins start. Angelo with a side headlock, shoots him off for a shoulder block. Theory scrambles up and hits the ropes but Dawkins just stands and lets him bounce off of him. Angel rushes in, Ford cuts him off, stereo dropkicks right before the commercial break. We come back with Theory fighting his way up from an armbar, escapes to the apron, hits a Hot Shot! Roll-through dropkick to the chest! Heels isolating Dawkins now, Garza tags in and starts working over the right leg. Theory tags in, stomp to the stomach, wrenching the arm and chin. Dawkins fights his way up, Theory tries to stop him with a superkick but Dawkins catches it and turns it into a T-Bone Suplex! Simultags, Ford is a house of fire! Series of clotheslines, big standing dropkick, DDT! Howls and goes up top, Theory distracts the ref as, I think Zelina Vega trips up Ford? Maybe? And Garza with an enziguri kick to the head but the ref knows there was cheating and calls for the bell in spite of Vega’s .
Winners: The Street Profits (by DQ)
That was odd, maybe the lack of cameras coming back to bite them now. My best guess is Zelina did something but thanks to the angle it was hard to see. I’d think that maybe Zelina missed a cue or something but that wouldn’t really make any sense considering they could easily have fixed that by editing it down. But then they could’ve reshot and moved the cameras too… so no explanation makes that much sense. I’m not really sure what to make of it, but something sure went wrong.
Anyway this of course kicks up another post-match brawl just so that Bianca Belair can come out to make the save yet again. Bianca says the EST of NXT is now the EST of WWE and not only is she the strong-EST and the tough-EST but she’s the fast-EST, Zelina will never outrun her. She challenges her to meet her in the ring.
