Last night at Wrestlemania 36, AJ Styles faced The Undertaker in the cinematic Boneyard Match. Due to their alliance with Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson were there as well to back up their long time friend in putting down The Deadman one last time. The match ended with the OC in shambles. Luke Gallows was thrown off a roof, and Karl Anderson was tombstoned onto the roof and potentially caught in the pyro. AJ Styles got the worst, being buried alive by The Undertaker. Without their fearless leader around, what will be next for Anderson & Gallows?
Anderson & Gallows Would Bring A Veteran Edge With A Run In NXT
With AJ Styles expected to be gone for months, this would be the perfect time for Anderson & Gallows to rebuild their image as a top tag team by going to NXT for some classics. They are a well established team after their years of top level competition in New Japan Pro Wrestling, but they haven’t hit quite as well in WWE. Anderson & Gallows have gained their championships and major victories, but they don’t quite look like the top team they should be. They have looked like AJ Styles goons as of late, which is a poor role them.
The NXT tag team division is lacking teams at the moment, with only a handful of teams to chase the champions of Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne. It would be a fresh change for them, and would open a slot for a team to get known by WWE fans on RAW & Smackdown.
Joining Finn Balor
Another angle that could be taken by Anderson & Gallows is that they could join an old friend, . They have been tied to AJ Styles for this entire run in WWE, and have proven to be directionless without him. Despite this, there is a team up fans have wanted since they came to WWE. This is with the creator of Bullet Club, now known to fans as Finn Balor. Balor is a heel in NXT, and while he has been doing fine on his own, he would be extra dangerous with two trusted allies at his back. He will never get Bad Luck Fale back in his corner, so Anderson & Gallows would be the next best thing. Do you want to see Anderson & Gallows make their way down to NXT?
