WWE Monday Night Raw continues. The Viking Raiders ask the Street Profits “what’s wrong, fam?” and believe they perhaps gave them too much smoke. Dawkins tosses the axe and it splits right into a barrel. Everyone just freezes and stares awkwardly. The ‘vikings’ all crowd the Street Profits as Erik and Ivar have to keep them at bay. This is the show-long angle this week. Anyway now it’s time for Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy again.
Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy
They swiftly break out into a brawl! Aleister with a series of strikes, Murphy push kicks him away but is laid out with a roundhouse kick to the chest! Murphy bails but Black pursues, kicks him hard against the barrier! And then again! Black throws him into the ring, pursues. Seth Rollins sees Austin Theory still reeling on the floor after that beatdown. Black with another roundhouse attempt meanwhile, Murphy ducks it and Black kicks the ringpost! Murphy sends him into the ring as Seth just keeps staring at the fallen Theory.
Black with upkicks, Murphy with a boot up on the charge, goes up top and flies at Black but he pump kicks him out of the air only for that leg to buckle! Meanwhile Seth offers Theory a hand and pulls him to his feet. Lengthy staredown. Black push kicks Buddy into the ropes, rebounds him into a big pump knee! Setting him up for the Black Mass, until Rollins points Theory into the ring. Austin rushes inside and attacks Aleister Black!
Winner: Aleister Black (by DQ)
Raw loves it’s DQs these days my God. Afterwards Black manages to fight back, until Murphy strikes from behind. Murphy and Theory gang up on Black. Murphy hooks Black’s wrists for the Kamigoye! He then throws Black to Austin who hoists him up onto his shoulders, plants him with the ATL.
Kinda figured they saw Austin Theory as the next Seth Rollins so it only makes sense really, and Seth did need to rebuild his group. Buddy Murphy must genuinely be ecstatic about this, now Theory can take all the beatings instead! The two of them could also legit make a really good tag team if they ever decide that they seriously care about those again. It’s not gonna be hard to top AOP as the group’s team, honestly.
