WWE Monday Night Raw continues and our opening match is likely to be a very very long one. We have a Last Chance Gauntlet match with all mystery participants, the winner gets the last spot in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match. We start with Bobby Lashley taking on Titus O’Neil. Yep, you heard that right, Titus O’Neil is getting a shot at being in that Money In The Bank match.
Bobby Lashley vs. Titus O’Neil
Lock-up. Lashley with a knee to the gut to break it up. Titus fires back with punches and chops to the chest. O’Neil actually looks bigger than Lashley, I wasn’t prepared for that. Lashley ducks a clothesline and there’s the Spear and Titus is down.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
That still lasted a little bit longer than I would’ve figured. Up next is Akira Tozawa, who will most certainly try.
Bobby Lashley vs. Akira Tozawa
Tozawa comes in quick and nails a dropkick but eventually he’s cut off with a spear and there’s the pin.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Well this is a pretty dominant showing. Sorta weird seeing Lashley get booked the way I would book him, hasn’t been a thing in the entire time he’s been with WWE. Shelton Benjamin is next out, always nice to see him.
Bobby Lashley vs. Shelton Benjamin
Benjamin leaps to the apron, Lashley tries to attack him on his way into the ring but a hot shot stops that, Benjamin with a hilo! Lashley fights back but Benjamin nails him with a high knee that takes him to the outside. Pursues, Lashley fights back on the floor and drives him into the apron and barricade! Tosses him back into the ring and stalks for the spear. Benjamin leap frogs it! Kick blocked but Shelton hits a Dragon Whip! But Lashley bounces right back and there’s the third spear and that is that!
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Just like that, Bobby Lashley’s spear is among the strongest finishers on the roster. That’s really how simple it can be, he just beat three guys in a row in mere moments with a single spear apiece. Pretty great. Next up is Humberto Carrillo who comes out with an intense stare. There’s a commercial break before this portion starts. Pretty good build for Lashley there but this match is about to get real now.
