CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers here to kick off a new week with a series of fashion competitions to get the blood pumping. First up, we’re treated to a classic (we mean it this time) episode from October 29, 1997 where Forrester Creations are on the verge of having the Forrester Spring Collection showing in Villa d’Este be their last.

Spring fears
At least, that’s the fear Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) has as she’s working up to have a good old-fashioned nervous breakdown. With their designs and other items still in transit instead of being where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there, it’s understandable. Especially given the amount of damage a failure like this could do to their company.
What’s even worse is there’s nothing they can do about it, as they’re at the mercy of the people outside of their control delivering their designs. Eric Forrester (John McCook) has the unlucky task of helping to sort things out and keep Stephanie from losing it and going on a rampage. Not an envious task by any imagination, but is anyone is up to it, it’s Eric. He has a natural calming influence on people.
Of course, so does Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) as she’s working her magic to keep Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) from following Stephanie’s lead. CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers don’t mind he has help relaxing, we just wonder if he would’ve survived in another company not owned by his family. Yeah, that’s right.
We said it. Like no one else has asked that a thousand times before, right?
At this rate, it’d take divine intervention or someone with the worst luck imaginable to delay things and save the day. Anyone know someone that fits the bill?
Enter Laurel and Hardy, er, Sally and Lauren
Okay, that wasn’t really fair, but their timing does leave more than a few questions hanging in the air.
With Forrester Creations on the verge on an epic failure, Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) decide it’s the perfect time to arrive and cause mayhem by crashing the runway and creating a huge scene.
This to us is a perfect example of why things never work out for Sally. The woman just has bad timing, bad luck, and she’s just not that good of a bad guy. She tries, and the actresses do amazing work, but the character is simply meant to suffer.
In this case, it’s CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers’ belief her efforts buy Forrester Creations the time they need. Had she just waited a little longer or not at all. But then, there wouldn’t be much of a rivalry for us to enjoy, right?
