Here we are, that the end of another week and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think this one looks like it’s going to be the perfect ending to the Lifetime of Love theme between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
We get to enjoy Victor and Nikki’s third marriage as they once more use the Colonnade Room for a memorable event. Aired on September 5, 2002, this episode had a cool mesh of two different perspectives aimed toward a fresh start.

Ashley’s secret
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has been carrying a big secret for a while now, and it’s been eating away at her whether she should say something or not.
With just her and her baby daughter, Abby Newman (Madison and Morgan Reinherz), Ashley finally came to a decision, and she sets up a video camera to record her message for Abby in the future.
Ashley’s fear, justified or not, is that she’s the only one that knows who Abby’s real father is, including the father, and she wants or needs to share it in case something happens to her. It’s a legitimate concern as having one’s history lost, especially something like this, could have devastating consequences down the road.
When her husband returned home, Ashley turned back to the camera, and with her baby on her lap, admitted that Abby Newman’s biological father was Victor Newman.
While this closes out one chapter, it opens a new one as Ashley and Abby have a fresh start ahead of them. Whether it’ll be rocky or not is something we’ve all seen.
Third time it is
While Ashley’s dealing with her private struggle, part of the reason for that struggle is marrying Nikki at the Colonnade Room. The timing with Victor and Nikki sealing their newest bond as Ashley spills her secret is perfect, and created a sense of hope and trepidation.
Of course, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers and fans everywhere knows the third time isn’t the charm for Victor and Nikki. But more than that, we want to see the Colonnade Room return as a set. It’s almost as iconic as Victor or other characters, and the show runners should really consider bringing it back. There’s just too much history with it to just forget about it like seems to have been done.
It’s one of the things many of us may not know about the show, and it’d get a good reaction out of longtime fans if it returns in some way.
Whether they bring it back or not, it’s been great seeing it and some of the events that happened. With this week in the books, what was your favorite moment?
