We will soon be saying goodbye to Matt Riddle from NXT, and this is perfectly normal. Stars come and go from NXT, being brought up to fill roles on RAW & Smackdown. Riddle is expected to make his debut on Friday Night Smackdown, but rarely do NXT call ups come one at a time. There are exceptions like The Forgotten Sons who recently came to Smackdown to replace The Usos, but they’re almost an outlier. Who will be joining Matt Riddle in saying goodbye to the black & gold brand?
Dominic Dijakovic Is Born To Be A Star
A spreading rumor would indicate that Dominic Dijakovic will be making his debut for either RAW or Smackdown in a few short weeks. Dijakovic has been constantly overshadowed since his debut in NXT, namely by his rival in Keith Lee. He was lost in the shuffle even when he was involved in War Games alongside Ciampa, Lee & Owens. One of the most agile heavyweights in all of wrestling, Dijakovic is sure to impress fans of whatever show he enters very quickly. We could very easily see him quickly be built up as a challenger for someone like Apollo Crews for the United States Championship, or even Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
His final apperence in NXT seen him getting beat by Johnny Gargano a few weeks back, a move used to kickstart the feud between Gargano & Keith Lee, as Gargano was able to deal with Dijakovic much easier than Lee ever did.
Velveteen Dream Has Just One Shot Left For The NXT Championship
At NXT Takeover: In Your House, we will see Velveteen Dream take another shot at winning the NXT Championship from Adam Cole. It will be his final shot as long as Cole is still champion, and could also be his final match in NXT as a whole. One of the best all around talents in NXT, some have went as far to have called Dream a wrestling prodigy. He has a louder than life character, top notch in ring skills, and charisma to spare. All the tools are there, and he is more than ready to take RAW & Smackdown by storm.
