It’s Money In The Bank season once again, and a guaranteed title shot would certainly help anyone. But one man would be especially deadly with this kind of power. This is King Corbin, a man who previously blew his chance after winning the briefcase in 2017. Thanks to interference from John Cena, Corbin failed his cash in on then WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Now in 2020, he has a second chance after beating Drew Gulak to qualify for the most unique iteration in the matches history. Will King Corbin be the one to climb the corporate ladder?
A Vicious Heel Who Will Do Anything To Win
While Corbin has not had the greatest winning record as of late, he has proven that he is someone who will do anything to get a win or prove a point. He recently shoved Elias off the elevated platform of the WWE Performance Center, and we could see him take similar tactics into this match. With no rules as people struggle to climb the WWE HQ, Corbin is free to do whatever he can to the other five men in this match. His power trip since becoming king combined with wanting to make up for the embarrassment of losing his last cash in, Corbin will be very dangerous indeed.
King Corbin Needs To Be Elevated
In a seemingly endless feud, King Corbin would be repeatedly lose to Roman Reigns. He would need help to win the few matches he managed to come out top, be doused in dog food, and just generally look like a goof. Add in a loss to Elias at Wrestlemania 36, and any credibility Corbin had gained from becoming King Of The Ring would be lost. However, WWE is not afraid to take someone to the main event in a heartbeat. We could very well see Corbin win the Money In The Bank briefcase, and become a top heel on Smackdown once again.
If Corbin wins Money In The Bank, he would be set on course to face WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman. However, with Roman Reigns likely to be facing Strowman once he returns to WWE, Corbin could wait in the shadows and get revenge on reigns by cashing in on him instead.
