There were a lot of rumours surrounding who would join Impact Wrestling from the roster of wrestlers WWE let go. It was then confirmed that EC3 would appear on Impact Wrestling after being let go. Although it could still change as we still haven’t seen him there yet. Now after the information that Tessa Blanchard has been let go from Impact wrestling and Michael Elgin won’t be taking part due to suspension due to abuse allegations and he could be let go due to them soon like many others. Impact Wrestling is most likely scrambling to think of who should get the champion and someone like EC3 would be a great fit.
The current matches are set but could we get two replacements?
After having to change some of the matches after the allegations leading to wrestlers being let go. Are Eddie Edwards Vs. Ace Austin Vs. Trey. Even though they are some great wrestlers, it has lost a lot of its star power and seems to be in need of a change. Putting two ex-WWE stars to fill the gap could make this match great, if EC3 was a part of it, he’d be favourite to win and Impact is his best bet at the movement. There also could be one more entry from the ex-WWE stars. No other than Health Slater could also make an appearance to make the number back up to five. Although if he did return, he would most likely return to be part of the tag team with Rhino.
Big shoes to fill.
Although Ace Austin also might be a good fit after losing his X-division championship at Rebellion. Eddie Edwards is a massive star who could easily be back holding the championship. Also, yeah, Trey would make a good champion. It didn’t really feel like any of these were actually going to win the championship. It kind of felt like Tessa was going to retain the championship before she disappeared from TV. Now with her gone, someone like EC3 could be a part of the match and win it, therefore, filling the big shoes left.
