We’ve reached the end of the run in waiting for Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are happy to be here for it. It’s been an interesting ride this week as we’ve actually had some sort of continuity for a change. Sure, it was mainly done through episodes that had the highlights of their quest to get married, but we understood where things were going and coming from.
Add to the mix, another question will be answered today when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) confesses to something she did. It seems pretty straight forward, at least CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think so. Everything points to her confessing to trying to run over Cricket.
Sounds like we’re in for a pretty fun ride, so let’s get these throwback spoilers going, shall we? Let’s sit back and enjoy this gem coming to us all the way from August 7, 1996.

Finally made it
It took them a couple of tries, with 1994’s attempt leaving a taste in their mouths, but Paul and Christine finally make it down the aisle to exchange their vows and become husband and wife.
It’s what had to happen at some point simply because they were a supercouple. Few others on daytime television could match the connection they shared with each other and with fans. They made us feel good, and brought out some of the show’s best moments when they were involved.
Now that they’ve been relegated to part time status with the next generation pushing the show forward and making it their own, it’s great to be able to go back and see these moments outside of a highlight clip or another butchered way that robs them of their context and magic.
And there’s Phyllis…
Confession’s coming
Phyllis has to get into things at some point, and since her confession is most likely about her trying to fun Christine over and hitting Paul instead, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers is curious if her confession will be the actual crime or if she’ll confess to being disappointed she didn’t hit Cricket.
Let’s face it, Phyllis hates her and it’s doubtful any amount of shock therapy will correct that. It’s just something that seems like it’ll last forever of until she can arrange for Cricket to fly into a bug zapper.
Of course, we could be wrong, but does Phyllis ever really change?
What’s Paul and Christine’s bet moment? Let us know below, and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers to keep up to date with the latest news, spoilers, and speculation around.
