Impact Word Championship – Eddie Edward (c) vs. Trey Miguel
The match started with a handshake, and Edwards and Trey circled each other before locking up.
They broke clean, then tied up again. Edwards size and strength was apparent from the start as Edwards backed him across the ring.
Trey used the ropes to roll out of the tie up, then locked a headlock on Edwards in the middle on the ring.
Edward sent Trey off the Ropes, and Trey countered it into a bulldog, then hit with a huricaranna and quick pin attempt.
And we’re back to Trey locking Edwards in a wrist lock again that broke when they tied up in the ropes.
Edwards then hit with an inverted atomic drop and a belly-to-belly suplex to take control.

Trey Spider-Maned into the ropes, but was caught and powerbombed for a near pinfall.
Edwards kept working on Trey and throwing him in the corner, then followed it with a couple of pin covers.
Trey fought back, but Edwards ended his push with a right hand, then backed him into a corner and kneed him in the midsection.
Edwards missed with an elbow in the corner, and Trey’s speed took over as he hit with a step up kick, the rolled through a sunset flip and into a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
With Edwards down, Trey headed for the ropes, but his spit-legged moonsault was met with raised knees by Edwards.
The pair met in the center of the ring with a pair of forearms. Tray his with a super kick and step up kick to lay them both out as we head to commercial.
Edwards closes the deal
We came back with both men hammering on each other in the center of the ring, and Trey hung in there as they increased their pace.
Trey tried to his with a cutter off the ropes, but Edwards countered it, but he hit with his second attempt for a near pin.
Trey showed some signs of frustration as he headed ot the top rope, but Edwards countered into a Tiger Driver. But Trey reversed that into a near pin.
Edward then hit with a clothesline and then a Tiger Driver, but Trey kicked out with less than an inch to the three count.
Edwards warmed up the Boston Knee Party, but Trey countered it again. Edwards hit with his BKP on his second try for the win.
After the match, Eric Young came out. Edwards called him into the ring and Young looked like he was about to, but backed out, saying it’ll be on his time. He added, “Sleep well” as he left.
