It’s currently looking like there are going to be big announcements in the Wednesday night wars tonight. They are two completely different people in the companies. One is from Jon Moxley, the AEW champion and one from William Regal, the NXT general manager. There’s no doubt it’s very likely that both announcements could be to do with the main event picture of the championship.
That fact could mean that both of these announcements could be massive. Even though Willam Regal’s announcement could be anything. Jon Moxley’s announcement is kind of limited as what can a champion really announce. There really aren’t many things it could be, although it is Jon Moxley in AEW, so it could really be anything at the same time.
What could Jon Moxley’s announcement be?
Jon Moxley’s announcement seems like it could evolve into his next feud as currently he doesn’t have one. With Brain Cage now in a feud with Darby Allin. Surely, the announcement is going to do with who will be next for him to go up against. We did first think that it could be a new manager but does Jon Moxley really need a manager?
What could Willam Regal’s announcement be?
For some reason and I don’t know why but I feel like it’s going to be a number one contender ladder match. I don’t know why I think this, it’s just the fact we haven’t seen a ladder match in so long. It could also be a Takeover announcement coming as currently there is nothing scheduled for NXT.
William Regal could announce a simple match is happening between Kerrion Kross and Kieth Lee. The announcement really could be anything but we’re really hoping it’s a heel announcement that really flips some stuff around. There’s heat between NXT and AEW now, so it could be something pretty big.
