Last week, Aliyah would stick up for her new manager in Robert Stone. This would mean stepping in the ring with Rhea Ripley, and it was not a long match. However, Stone only had to be stuck up for, due to him looking to recruit Ripley to the Robert Stone brand. That chase could end tonight, as the steps into the ring alongside Aliyah to face Ripley. If she loses, she will reluctantly gain a new manager, but if she wins, she shuts these loudmouths up for good. Which outcome would become reality?
Two On One? That’s An Even Fight For Rhea Ripley
Half of being successful is knowing you can win any challenge, so two on one? That’s fine for the former NXT Women’s Champion. Stone came out looking like he raided Marc Mero’s gear from the WWE Warehouse, ready to throw hands with the woman who threw him into the trash twice. Add in some goggles and a mouthpiece, Ripley would be shaking in her boots.
Stone would say it’s got this, and shove Aliyah aside. He’d do his best Ali Shuffle, before being dropped with a single slap, knocking him down. Aliyah would do her best to get the match back, with an impressive headscissors sending Rhea to the corner. Stone would grab the foot to let Aliyah hit a hard running knee in the corner.
Ripley would handle Aliyah like a child in setting up the Electric Chair Drop, with Stone breaking the pinfall. He’d have Ripley chase him outside, and go for a dive, only for her to step aside. Once again saving this match, Aliyah would dive in with a facebuster, truly getting the upperhand on Ripley going into the commercial break.
Robert Stone Brand Gives Their Best Performance Yet
The numbers advantage was all that kept them in this match, but Robert Stone brand are already a well oiled machine. They would keep the former champion on the ropes with their teamwork, before the inevitable comeback. Ripley would find herself in a combo submission, but break out. A double suplex would get a nearfall, but a second attempt would lead to Ripley hitting her own suplex on both.
Aliyah would run in and be thrown, before Stone would be dropped with a dropkick. Throwing Aliyah into the corner, she’d use her as a weapon to brutalize Stone. She’d counter a rollup attempt from Stone with a headbutt, before locking in a double Prism Trap and submitting both opponents.
Rhea Ripley doesn’t have to join the Robert Stone Brand, but after their great performance, she might atleast consider it. This was a well done Handicap match, with equal parts comedy and action. Easy 3/5 match, but god, it would have been lovely to see what Robert Stone could have done with Ripley in his group. Do you think she should consider joining him afterall?
