There’s little doubt we’ll have a Sheamus and Jeff Hardy segment on WWE Smackdown prior to their match at Horror Show: Extreme Rules.
With Jeff Hardy and Sheamus being the biggest storyline on WWE Smackdown, it’s safe to say we’re going to see them cross paths before the pay-per-view.
They’ve built up to this for weeks, and we expect Sheamus to attack Jeff at some point, leading to a brawl between the two. With recent news coming out that Jeff won’t resign with the WWE, we expect a good showing but for him to lose here and at Horror Show: Extreme Rules.
Possible Fatal Four Way or Elimination Match
After last week’s disastrous karaoke showing (please never do that to us again), Evans obviously turned heel but left while the other three brawled away. It’s doubtful they got all of their aggression out, so it makes sense for them to compete tonight.
If this happens, we think Lacey Evans will win since she started the ruckus last week and then walked away. She’ll pick her moments to strike and come away with the victory anyway she can cementing her as a heel going forward.
Nikki crosses Bayley
We’ve grown accustomed to seeing Bayley on every show, and this plays into the possibility of Nikki Cross being on A Moment of Bliss as it’ll lead to a confrontation between her and Bayley as they head into the pay-per-view to face off for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Nikki’s been on a hot streak, and we expect that to continue to build her up even more for her upcoming match. This one should be fun to watch.
New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura match stipulations for Extreme Rules
Since these two teams have been hammering away on each other and tables have become an important part of the feud, their match at Horror Show: Extreme Rules could be a Tables Match, or even Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
We doubt it’s the latter since the WWE may have that as Dolph Ziggler’s stipulation for his match with Drew McIntyre (thanks to an accidental image share). So, a tables match would make sense given recent habits.
Maybe even a Last Man Standing of Extreme Rules match, depending on which way WWE Creative winds blow. If nothing else, their upcoming match could be one that steals the show at Extreme Rules, so it’ll be fun to watch what ideas come out of the recent teases.
We do think Cesaro and Nakamura should win the Smackdown Tag Team Championship as they’ve proven themselves as a fun team to watch. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
