CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some more spoilery goodies to share, and we’re loving how Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) seems to be in the middle of everything lately.
He’s a wealth of support for anyone that needs it, but lately his ideas seem to cause a great deal of mayhem and chaos that’s completely unintended.
The lucky recipients have had some luck, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect his latest victim, er, compadre is going to run into some problems no one foresaw.
In this case, we expect Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to become suspicious about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s motives toward Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and this could end badly.

He comes as a friend
Adam came to Sharon for help remembering what really happened when he was eleven years old. He needs to know the circumstances of how and why he killed a man to find peace, and Sharon wants to help him.
Unfortunately, Nick thinks it’s better to let Adam dangle in the breeze and suffer, and Rey isn’t that far away from agreeing with him.
After Adam arrived at Sharon’s, Rey left and luckily ran into Nick. The two shared problems and opinions before going their separate ways, and that’s where we expect the problems to start.
Sharon will tell him about her wanting to help Adam, and Rey will grudgingly agree after a few minutes, but he’ll be seething.
He’s expecting Adam to be up to something, maybe even trying to get Sharon back. The truth is, Rey’s concerned more for the latter, we think, and Nick laying out Adam and Sharon’s history didn’t help him.
This could lead to some interesting moments as Rey is a good cop, and if he finds something (our money’s on Nick filling him in out of spite), things are going to go sideways in a hurry for everyone.
Phyllis’ inspiration
On the flip side, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers enjoy Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s relationship.
She’s one of the few we’ve seen that can be extremely loving and caring to those she likes, and pure evil to those she hates.
Given she feels she’s won her latest conflict, she’s looking to branch out into another endeavor based on what is the perfect getaway for women, and she asked Nick for suggestions.
Nick had an idea right away when he knew he wasn’t being tested, but it’s something he has to show her.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect it could be a couple of ideas involving the Grand Phoenix, like special theme rooms for guests. Maybe even a special service like a masseuse or even a night on the town type of thing.
