CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here and we’re all set to share some spoilery fun, especially with things looking like they’re about to go into orbit.
What makes this even more interesting and fun is they’ll make things exciting in two different places — Genoa City and Kansas.
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s desire to be at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s side will override her common sense, as illustrated by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s failed attempt to convince her to be patient.
In Genoa City, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is going to find himself in some lukewarm to hot water when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) challenges his work habits and ethic, which has us curious if anything else is going on.

Diving in
When it comes to being in love, it’s hard to argue with someone that wants to be there for their significant other through thick and thin.
In this case, Chelsea is going to plunge into the action and head to Kansas. Whether she does so with help from Victor is questionable, but we’re sure she’ll find her way there no matter what.
There’s also the problem of Chelsea’s concern that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get too close to Adam for her comfort to deal with, and that sets the stage for what CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect.
In her rush to run to Adam’s side, we think she’s going to walk in on something she won’t be expecting. Or maybe she is, but hoped it wouldn’t happen.
We’re not saying Adam and Sharon will be up to anything, but Adam will be an emotional wreck and Sharon will want to comfort him.
Given how time works in a soap opera, we expect Chelsea to arrive around this time.
Lily on the warpath
For whatever reason, Lily is going to go after Billy for his work ethic slackening, and this should be an interesting exchange.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are curious what brought this on after Lily said things were going well with Billy while she was relaxing as part of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s new endeavor.
We’re curious if Billy fell behind during the absorption of Newman Enterprises’ communication division. If he did, it’s understandable that she’ll be frustrated.
Of course, it could be a way to help motivate Billy if he’s been getting caught up in other things or losing his focus for various reasons.
This could be an entertaining exchange between them. Friction with them is due since they’ve been working together too smoothly lately.
