Impact Wrestling Results and Recap came back as Eddie Edwards came out and challenged Eric Young, but Brian Myers came out instead
Eddie Edwards vs. Brian Myers
They circled each other to start off before locking up and they broke cleanly in the ropes.
Another tie up led to Myers backing Edwards into a corner, and Edwards ducked a clothesline but Myers hit with a knee.
Myers then slapped on a headlock after a snapmare.
Edward threw Myers off the ropes an date a shoulder block before he hit Myers with an elbow and had a near pinfall.
Myers gained the upper hand, but Edwards clotheslined him over the top ropes when Myers held on.
Back after commercial, Myers was in control and stomped on Edward n the corner.
Edward managed to gain the upper hand after hitting with a suplex, but Myers nailed him with a kick and ran him into the ring post on the ring apron.
Outside the ring, Myers ran Edwards into the side of the ring back first, then threw him into the ring.
Myers attempted a cover after a couple of knee drops, but Edwards kicked out.
Edwards fought out od a reverse chinlock with some elbows, but Myers took over after tripping Edwards at the ropes and then locked in another reverse chinock.
Edwards sidestepped Myers and sent him to the floor, then followed it up with a suicide dive.
It looked like Edwards hurt his knee by landing on the cement floor hard.
Myers ran Edwards into the security railing, then waited in the ring for Edwards to roll into the ring.
Myers hit with a back suplex for a near pinfall, then slapped on a sleeper hold.
Edwards tried to fight out of it and Myers threw him into the corner. Edwards then countered Myers by suplexing him into the turnbuckle.
Myers met Edwards charge into a corner with an elbow, but Edwards still managed a backpack stunner for a near pinfall.
Myers countered a Tiger Driver into a DDT, but Edwards kicked out at two.
Edwards countered a charge with a superkick and hit with a Tiger Driver for another near pinfall.
Myers ducked a Boston Knee Party and nailed Edwards with a kick, but Edwards hit on his second attempt and scored the pinfall victory.
A fun night once the technical glitches were solved, and it looks like we’re going to have some awesome matches nest week.
