After last Monday’s loss to Sasha Banks, it’s been announced/teased that Asuka will be looking for redemption on WWE Raw.
While it’s easy to suspect Asuka will go after Banks, we expect to see a twist and Asuka to challenge Bayley since Bayley is the one that beat up Kairi Sane when Asuka had the match won.
In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if this is for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship, or just setting up a future match between the two.
Will @WWEAsuka be out for retribution on @SashaBanksWWE & @itsBayleyWWE this Monday on #WWERaw? https://t.co/angsyPTZtz

Change of pace
This makes sense for a couple of reasons. The first being Bayley’s exhausted challengers on Smackdown after beating Nikki Cross again.
The other is Asuka and Banks have been growing stale lately, but that doesn’t mean Asuka is finished with her. We believe this is where things may get interesting.
Assuming Asuka challenges Bayley in some way, Banks will inject herself in the match.
Even with her interfering, Asuka could defeat Bayley and set herself up as the number one contender for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship.
This would be a way for Auska to torment Banks without threatening her directly.
Most likely, we expect Asuka to attack them, and the numbers game will eventually catch up to her backstage and she’ll get a beat down.
Unless someone jumps in to help her.
A new partner?
This would seem like the logical choice, but who?
Ruby Riott and Bianca Belair have joined forces and seem content as they are. Besides, it takes a special type to team with Asuka.
This doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but it feels wrong and too predictable, even for the WWE.
There are a couple of options like Liz Morgan, who’s been off WWE television for a while. It’d be an interesting team up, even if it’s just for one week and may give Morgan a boost.
We could even see another NXT talent appear on WWE Raw to lend support.
Most likely, we expect Asuka to revert back to her more vicious. Less comical style from when she was in NXT. It’s going to be interesting to see what’s to come for her.
Bayley and Banks may have bitten off more than they can handle with this one.
Given the two on one angle, we won’t be surprised if Stephanie McMahon interferes again and there’ll be a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam with both Women’s Championships on the line.
The WWE has made an interesting point of making everyone Two Belt Something since Becky Lynch won both Women’s Championships.
This would give them a chance to add another name to that list as well as finally build up the Bayley and Banks feud they teased and fans have been wanting for a while now.
Who do you think Asuka will go after tonight? Let us know in the comments?
