WWE Smackdown Results pops into the Firefly Fun House as Bray Wyatt entered in his usual jovial self and welcomed us back to eh Firefly Fun House.
He said it’s good to be back home with all of his friends, but something was missing.
The screen switched and he held the Universal Championship.
He addressed Roman Reigns, saying it’s really good to see him again when the doorbell rang.
He opened the door, and Pierce came in dressed as a postal worker. Wyatt recognized him right away, and refused to sign the contract because there;s not reason for him to sign it.
Pierce said he was asking because Wyatt and the Fiend have a connecton. Wyatt agreed after a second where some Fiend imagery played.
He closed it out saying, “If I know him like I think I do, I know I just signed a couple of death warrants.
A jovial Wyatt laughing said for us to let him in and said goodbye.
Back in the ring, Riddle started things off by addressing King Corbin and calling him out for his king’s ransom.
He pointed out that it seems like Corbin doesn’t want to face him and is scared. He challenged him to come out and face him as the commercial stared.
The breaks tonight have no warning. Guess that’ll be Retribution’s fault?

Matt Riddle vs. Shorty G
We came back to Riddle continuing to challenge Corbin and toss out a couple of insults.
King Corbin finally came out, but stopped partway down the ramp.
While Riddle was distracted, Shorty G hit Riddle from behind, and Corbin accepted the challenge on behalf of Shorty G
The match started fast with them exchanging blows, but Shorty G took Riddle down and hit him with a handful of forearms.
Riddle then hit with a gut wrench suplex.
Shorty G fought out of a Bro Derick piledriver and hit with a Tiger Suplex for a near pinfall.
Riddle flipped out of a German suplex and hit Shorty G with a Bro Derick.
Corbin attacked Riddle from behind, but Riddle was ready for him and Corbin slipped out of the ring after exchanging a few shots.
Corbin then told Riddle he’s the king and Riddle will bow down to him.
Big E refuses to appear on Miz TV
A recap of Talking Smack was shown and then a recording of Big E saying he doesn’t want to be on Miz TV but hes contractually obligated.
Miz and Morrison approached him, and Sheamus joined them. Big E was backed up by Heavy Machinery.
Backstage, Big E, Otis, and Tucker were talking lunch that included plenty of sausage.
Sasha Banks and Bayley approached them and Bayley cracked a few jokes about them playing with their meat, then led them away.
Banks looked awfully dejected.
Backstage search
We came back to Pierce knocking on Reigns’ door to get the contract signed.
When no one answered, he left, and Kayla approached Corbin about accepting Riddle’s challenge.
Corbin went on a torment about how he will break every bone and part of Matt Riddle at WWE Payback.
