Last week, AEW continued their momentum from All Out into the following episode of Dynamite. This will continue this week, as they go head to head with NXT once again, but they have a stacked card ready to go. A major feud comes to a close, the NWA Women’s Championship will be defended, and the AEW Tag Team Champions will be in action. Let’s break down what has been announced!
Best Friends Meet Santana & Ortiz In A Parking Lot Brawl
Santana & Ortiz took things way too far in their feud with Best Friends Trent & Chuck Taylor. Following a loss to Best Friends, they decided to smash up Trent mothers minivan. Fighting for Sue’s honor brings us back to where we were months ago, Best Friends wanting to throw down with rivals in the parking lot. They were going to face Lucha Bros before the pandemic shut down, but instead they have Santana & Ortiz, and much better motives. This rivalry ends tonight, but who would stand tall?
Thunder Rosa Defends NWA Women’s Championship
After an impressive showing against AEW Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida and her debut match against Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa is back again. She has been carrying the banner for the NWA in AEW, and tonight she defends an NWA Championship on Dynamite. Her opponent will be Ivelisse, who would love to add the championship to her Women’s Tag Team Cup. Will Rosa go back to Billy Corgan’s NWA without her treasured championship?
FTR Tests Jurassic Express
While elsewhere tonight in wrestling, tag team titles are on the line, that isn’t the case in AEW. FTR aren’t just handing out tag team championship matches all willy nilly, you need to earn them. If you want a championship match? Beat the champions. This is the test ahead of Jurassic Express members Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus. Can they earn a chance at the AEW Tag Team Championships, or will FTR remain undefeated?
Also announced for tonight is Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs. Private Party, Hangman Page vs. Frankie Kazarian, MJF in action, we expect to hear from Jon Moxley & Lance Archer, and more from Kip Sabian, Penelope Ford & Miro.
