CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some really run spoilery goodness to get us ready as a couple of the show’s storylines are kicking things into gear.
It’s the usual growth we’ve come to expect, though said growth isn’t always as fast or as thorough as we may like.
Either way, things are going to get really interesting in Genoa City in the coming weeks.
Both upticks in action are along the lines of what CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have expected and hoped would happen, and it looks like it’s an early Christmas present.
Despite not being present, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s current issues are wreaking havoc elsewhere, which has been said is his forte.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been concerned to the point of depressing obsession over what Adam’s going through, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has had about enough of it.
Adam’s influence has extended far and wide, and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will spring a surprise that’ll cause Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to take a step back.
Nothing like a connected storyline to make things more entertaining, right?
Adam’s influence
Nikki has tried to be understanding with Victor’s concern with Adam, but she and the rest of the family hate him. It’s that simple.
Adam is a direct copy of Victor, and he’s earned their ire with his previous actions, but Victor is the only one that’s capable of continuing to love him because of his sense of family.
It’s this sense of family that will throw Nikki, as she see how much his decision to give in to Adam for a short time.
She’ll press him to do more to mend the fence between he and Victoria, though he’s done everything he can and it’s now up to her.
The thing is, we’re wondering how far will this go? Will it be enough to cause Nikki to leave him?
Time will tell.
Victoria’s move
The easy choice in this one is that Victoria will do something to trigger the old guard at Newman Enterprise to force them out or into silence before they can do anything to her.
While the threat of them selling their options or leaking news to hurt her is a possibility, and hitting them first would send a message.
But CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers feel she’ll want to do something grander, and will green light the story she gave to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
This could spark a huge Newman war, and it’ll be blamed on Adam. The problem here is he’s not trying to cause trouble, and that makes him all the more hated for it.
