CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here and do we have some fun spoilers to share.
It looks like there’s a plot twist coming up that’s going to make things even more interesting in Genoa City than usual, but then again, is there anything that is unusual there?
Some things are simply unavoidable, such as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being guided down the wrong path once again by his lovely wife, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).
And all because she’s going to panic and assume why Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Alyssa Montalvo (María DiDomenico) were meeting at the coffee house.
While they’re overreacting, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is going to have a moment where she lets her guard down in front of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and he’ll be there to comfort her.
Now that we look at it, everything does look like a normal day in Genoa City, doesn’t it?

Chelsea’s war
Adam has all but convinced himself that he’s a cold blooded murderer, and while Chelsea has told him repeatedly that he’s not, her latest tidbit could push him further into that darkness.
Chelsea means well with Adam, but she seems to miss the small things, things that would often be prudent to keep them out of trouble.
In this case, her guess about Billy and Alyssa will be close, but it won’t be close enough and that could come back to bite her and Adam.
In many ways, a typical day in their lives. And it’s another opportunity for Chelsea to convince Adam to be at her side. Kinda interesting how that could work out, huh?
Still, we expect them to do something to silence Alyssa before she can write another story, but how far will they go?
Amanda cracks
This is the reveal that’s been teased for a while now, and it’s pretty much what CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expected. As did many others.
But there’s something else that’s been teased and pushed, and that’s the possibility of Devon and Amanda becoming a couple.
Honestly, we think they’ve been trying to hard to set this up, so it won’t happen.
Of course, that means it probably will and it’ll leave a wake of problems behind them.
As it stand now, we think this will simply be Amanda being overwhelmed with knowing she has a family and Devon will be there to comfort her.
