CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some fun spoilery goodies to get the week started.
It looks like we’re in for some twists and turns to get things rolling, and it looks like it’s going to be a fun week, so let’s get to it.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was in such a happy place a few episodes ago, but since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) offered some of her cynical, realistic thoughts he’s walking a little heavier now.
As such, he’s going to have some questions and doubts about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King)’s relationship, and it could be interesting going forward.
With her work there done, Phyllis will turn her attention to helping another friend, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with her endeavor.
While Phyllis means well, could her natural cynicism work against Amanda, or will this project be something she could really help break open?

Escalating doubts
Jack was so happy thinking he’d gotten a message from his mother about focusing more on finding love than business that he had ben viewing everything through rose colored glasses.
He was lighter, happier, and pretty enjoyable to be around for nearly everyone.
Then he had a chat with Phyllis, and those glasses shattered and he’s been heavier and more business minded since.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” expect that to be the reason for his about face when it comes to Kyle and Summer’s relationship.
He’ll look at it with the same pragmaticism that he does just about everything, and he’ll see the problems in what the young couple are doing just like everyone else.
This should be an interesting experience since Kyle and Summer are at the top of Jabot and Jack will undoubtedly go back to working more than not and be looking over their shoulders.
Nothing like some good family drama in the workplace, right?
Connect the dots
Phyllis will continue with her desire to help and guide others by working with Amanda to connect the dots in her little mystery.
Of course, Phyllis won’t hesitate to help a friend so she’ll jump right in.
But there is the possibility that this could be for something besides Amanda’s quest to learn about her past and family.
Chances are, she’ll be looking for ways to head off any potential lawsuit over Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s latest effort to topple Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
And to be honest, Phyllis would be the perfect person to help her with any doubts and maybe point the finger at Chance Chancellor (Danny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to help Amanda and Billy.
