Impact Wrestling has really strengthened their tag team division and we’re getting to enjoy the fruits of their labors.
What’s interesting about this match is Ace Austin and Madman Fulton haven’t had a lot of success as a tag team, as they’ve been separated and beaten by established teams.
This can be chalked up to their inexperience working together, and that’s expected. But now, we think the dividends are about to pay off.
And when these two get fully on the same page, things in Impact Wrestling’s tag team division will never be the same.

Egos rule
This match was practically a guarantee when they teamed up two weeks ago to face the MCMG and the Good Brothers (they replaced the Rascalz after they were ambushed backstage).
The egos and ambitions of the four men simply wouldn’t allow anything else, so when Ace Austin stole the pin from Ethan Page, it was the final straw.
After the match, the four “teammates” squared off and things became a little heated as the show went off the air.
Then last week, Austin pushed when he said by him getting the pin means that he and Madman Fulton should be the number one contenders for the Impact Tag Team Championship.
Page and Josh Alexander took exception to that since they held the championship for a record setting run, and the four men once again faced off, ready to go.
Our pick
Like with the Rascalz, The North has lost two straight to the MCMG, including a rematch to win back the tag team titles on Impact Wrestling.
It can be argued that this is simply The North’s ego talking and they refuse to give up their old position no matter what.
They’ve definitely been more aggressive and intense in their quest to reclaim their titles, and this should be an awesome match.
As much as we’d think it’d be cool to see Austin and Fulton win and continue toward a chance for tag team gold, we don’t see it happening logically but it’ll happen.
The North are too good and they should win, which means we’ll see something daring out of Austin that’ll swing the victory his and Fulton’s way.
I know, that may not make sense, but Austin and Fulton are great schemers and we think they’ll find a way to counter The North’s experience and walk out with a win.
Now, will the winner here face the winner of the Good Brothers and MCMG at Victory Road? That’s our thinking. What do you think will happen and who will win these matches?
