A couple of feel good stories in Impact Wrestling involve two men that are great performers and know how to pull at our heartstrings.
Rich Swann returned as a surprise entrant for the vacant Impact World Championship at Slammiversary and eliminated Eric Young, a recent signing and returning hero for many.
And that’s when the story changed.

Instead of a victory moment for Swann, Young attacked him and tried to end his career by targeting his recently healed knee.
Because of that attack, Swann announced he was forced to retire and was set to hobble off into the professional wrestling sunset.
But Young had to attack him again, and then set his sights on Impact World Champions Eddie Edwards.
After Young injured Edwards, Swann pleaded with Scott D’Amore to let him come back and face Young at Bound For Glory.
D’Amore agreed as long as Swann receives medical clearance to compete. Because of that, we got an update on Swann’s status last week where the doctor was more than optimistic.
This week we’re going to receive another update and get to see more of Swann’s inspiring story as he works to get himself ready to face the World Class Maniac.
#Heath4Impact

After causing a social media storm a couple of weeks back, Heath was allowed to team with Rhino against Reno Scum (Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe) at Victory Road.
The match came about because Rhino and Heath stole Hernandez’s roll of money to bankroll Heath’s #HeathImpact promotion to get a contract with Impact Wrestling.
If Heath and Rhino won, he was told he’d have the inside road to a contract. So, when they beat Reno Scum, Scott D’Amore told heath to come to the Impact Zone tonight and they’d see about that contract.
It seems that everything is coming up roses for Heath, but what are the chances this goes off without a hitch?
There’s still that nagging problem with Hernandez, though he will probably leave them be now that he has his money.
Reno Scum could make some noise and interrupt things, but oddly enough, we want to say Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock may challenge them before the contract is signed.
This is purely speculation on our part, but we’re sure something will go haywire to prevent Heath from signing.
Maybe we’re just being paranoid.
What do you think? Will Heath sign tonight? And what will Rich Swann’s update say? Let us know in the comments below.
