Impact Wrestling Victory Road is going to give us a potentially hardcore-esc match when Briand Myers and Tommy Dreamer square off.
Since arriving in Impact Wrestling, Myers has dubbed himself “The Most Professional Wrestler” and has launched into a few tirades and interrupted interviews as he’s seen fit.
The last couple of weeks, he’s crossed paths with Tommy Dreamer, who was responsible for hiring him and Bo Dallas in the WWE years ago.
The first came when Myers overturned a drink table in a fit of rag and reamer stepped in to admonish him.
There’s a history
In fact, when he helped fill in for Melissa Santos on Impact Wrestling’s Skype chat, he explained how he understands why Myers is frustrated with how he was treated elsewhere (WWE), but this is a fresh start for him.

Honestly, it’s pretty cool how they tied in Myers and Eric Young’s frustration with their previous employer into their characters to explain the drastic change in temperament.
More than that, while this match seems hurried with the buildup, we expect it to be the perfect feud to help Myers rebuild and reestablish himself in Impact.
Dreamer’s an old pro that’s forgotten more than many of us will ever know, and he’s been masterful in helping to guide Impact in one way or another.
We fully expect Myers to defeat Dreamer in this match, but it’s going to be difficult and costly.
In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if it ends in a draw with a double DQ or count out or something along those lines.
This is a personal feud, and keeping a cool and focused head isn’t what we expect to se between the two of them, which should make this an awesome old school type of match.
What could be better for Victory Road?
Ace Austin vs. Karl Anderson vs. Alex Shelley vs. Josh Alexander
This is one of those matches we didn’t see coming, partially because it was a late add on but also because it seems out of the blue.
While it’s possible it could’ve been added to help fill time, we don’t expect anything less than an awesome showing.

As luck would have it, we’re going to see the arguably more technically sound members of each of Impact Wrestling’s tag team division in this Fatal Four Way.
It should be exciting to see the different alliances form, and how long it takes them to crumble when the opportunity presents itself.
This has the potential to get out of hand early, and we expect nothing but carnage as their respective tag team partners will interfere in one way or another.
Most likely, we expect them to brawl outside the ring when someone does something they shouldn’t, say when Ethan Page helps Karl Anderson or Ace Austin into the ring unceremoniously.
One of the headline grabbers will probably be Doc Gallows and Madman Fulton squaring off, and that will take away from the action in the ring.
With any luck, we’ll get to focus on the in ring action and not the drama unfolding outside of it, but we’re not expecting that.
As for the winner, it’s a flip a coin type of thing.
But we’ll go with Ace Austin simply because he finds ways to sneak in and steal a win.
However it works out, we’re sure this is going to be a fun one.
Who do you think is going to win, and what will it mean for their tag team partners?
