It appears as though Kevin Shamrock has just gotten a major compliment from the one and only Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on Twitter. Shamrock will soon appear at the Impact tapings on September 5thand 6thin Las Vegas and is scheduled to face Moose in a match. And according to The Rock, his comeback to the ring was a long time coming.
After current Impact World champion Brian Cage had a few things to say about the matter, The Rock couldn’t help but add his two sense in, too. As many fans can recall, both The Rock and Shamrock had a feud that lasted for the most part of 1998.
The Rock Has High Words Of Praise For Ken Shamrock
When Brian Cage tweeted, “I agree. Shamrock all around was great. And Jacked,” The Rock followed up with, “I’ll co-sign that. @ShamrockKenhelped build “The Rock” character. Huge #AttitudeErainfluence. We tore the houses down together. I’ll always be grateful and respectful. He’s a fucking machine. They don’t make em like that anymore. Thanks for the house brother Ken.”
It didn’t take very long for other WWE fans to respond to The Rock’s comments. They posted many opinions that included, “Dual sport athlete, first UCF fighter to go mainstream in WWE, attitude era standout, former tag team champion, IC champion, and King of the Ring. How is he not in the hall of fame yet?” along with, “Well said The Rock! Great to see Shamrock Ken get the recognition that he deserves. He’s a badass, a pioneer and a legend.”
Another fan wrote, “Never in a million years would I have thought I’d see the rock pop up in an impact wresting threat. You sir blow my mind!”
Even though Dwayne Johnson has a very successful and profitable Hollywood career these days, it’s needless to say that he’s still very involved in the WWE world, at least when it comes to social media.
