It’s Wednesday once again, and that means another episode of WWE’s black & gold brand. This week, we have a shocking three announced matches as we step closer to Halloween Havoc next week. The NXT Tag Team Championships are on the line, there will be a heated Triple Threat match, and some fast paced Cruiserweight six man tag action. Let’s break what has been announced down.
Undisputed Era Looks To Usher In Another Golden Era At The Expense Of Breezango
Breezango winning the NXT Tag Team Championships was a major feel good moment. They’ve been unremarkable as champions, but that could change as they get their first big defense tonight. Breezango are a good tag team, but Undisputed Era are the kings of the division. If they win tonight, they’ll be four time NXT Tag Team Champions. Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish could very well kick off a new golden era for the once great faction, or keep their downfall going.
Tommaso Ciampa, KUSHIDA & Velveteen Dream Clash In A Heated Triple Threat Match
Over the past month, there has been the opposite of a long triangle in NXT. KUSHIDA beat Velveteen Dream at NXT Takeover 31, and looked to follow up on that win by toppling Ciampa the next week on NXT. The match was going towards NXT Takeover quality, until Dream crashed the scene and ended the match in DQ. KUSHIDA already hated Dream, and now he’s got Ciampa as an enemy, with all three clashing tonight in what should be a great Triple Threat match.
Swerve Teams With Ashante Adonis & Jake Atlas To Face Legado Del Fantasma
The NXT Cruiserweight Championship is more valuable than ever with it’s recent NXT Takeover debut. Legado Fel Fantasma leader Santos Escobar has taken the belt to new heights, while Jordan Devlin sits at home in the UK and claims to be the true champion. Alongside Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde, he will face down three prospective challengers in Jake Atlas, Ashante Adonis, and his recent rival Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. If someone can pin Escobar, they might lock in another match for Halloween Havoc next week.
