WWE Smackdown Draft Results were surprised this match happened so quickly, and it wasn’t as good as we would’ve liked.
Cesaro and Woods started it off, and Cesaro backed Woods into the corner, and Woods came out swinging.
Cesaro nailed him with an upper cut, but Woods hit a hurricanrana. Cesaro caught him with a clothesline, but Woods hit with a spinning punch, and then a flying splash in the corner.
Kingston tagged in and they hit with a Day Break for a pin attempt, but Nakamura saved the pin as we headed to commercial.

New Day rises
Back from commercial, Cesaro was in control of Kingston and hit with several strikes in the corner.
Kingston hit Cesaro with a pivot kick when Cesaro charged him in the corner, and they tagged in their partners.
Woods hit with a heel kick on Nakamura, then kicked Cesaro and hit with the Honor Roll and then hit Cesaro with a kick through the ropes.
Woods nailed Nakamura with a kick and DDT for a near pinfall.
Nakamura ducked under a splash by Woods and Woods got hung up in the corner, and Cesaro had a near pinfall after Nakamura hit with a kick off the ropes.
Woods counter Cesaro with aa jawbreaker and tagged in Kingston.
Kingston hit Cesaro with an elbow then hip tossed him over the top rope and leaped after him off the ropes and hit with a tornado like DDT.
Cesaro caught Kingston off the top rope with an uppercut for a near pinfall.
Nakamura came in, but Woods held onto Nakamura’s foot to prevent a Kinshasa.
Kingston hit a Trouble in Paradise on Cesaro, but Nakamura hit him with a spinning kick for a near pinfall.
Kingston then hit Nakamura with a Trouble in Paradise and Woods hit with a flying elbow drop for the pin.
We expected this outcome, but it feels cheap and rushed with Kingston and Woods returning and getting a sudden opportunity. This just feels off.
WWE Draft Round 4
This was the final draft round of the night, and it held a few surprises.
Raw selected the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). This means the Smackdown titles will be going with them.
Smackdown selected Big E.
Raw selected Dana Brooke.
Smackdown Selected Otis.
Raw selected Angel Garza.
That does it for the draft tonight. Anyone not picked out of the Smackdown pool are now free agents, though WWE Smackdown Draft Results aren’t sure when they’re exactly free.
Otis served with a continuance
Backstage, Otis and Tucker were dressed in their best suits, though Otis forgot his sleeves.
Otis’ concern was that he was drafted to Smackdown and Tucker was still floating out there.
Ticker told him not to worry about that now since Otis has to fight to keep his Money in the Bank contract.
A woman approached them and handed him a continuance from the Miz’s lawyer. Guess Sullivan beat him up a little too much.
Could they book Otis any worse than they are? Seriously.
Banks Challenged Bayley
After a recap of Bayley and Banks’ match earlier, it cut to Banks backstage as she called Bayley a coward.
She said she should’ve known she’s play mind games, and challenged Bayley to a Hell in a Cell match.
She promised to break everything about Bayley. She added that she was her best friend and she loved her, but at Hell In a Cell she’s going to take Bayley’s championship.
While Hell in a Cell is the perfect place for their feud to culminate, WWE Smackdown Draft Results can’t help but feel cheated they didn’t start this earlier.
Maybe they’ll keep it going until Survivor Series. What do you think?
