Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
We’re getting ready for the new season of WWE Smackdown and it looks like it’ll be a fun and emotional night as the New Day says good bye, and the Street Profits debut.
All this and more tonight, and WWE Smackdown Live Results are looking forward to what’s to come.

Segment 1
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon welcomed us to the new season and a brawl between the roster broke out.
Lars Sullivan came down and leveled the Street Profits, Apollo Crews, and Shorty G before Jeff attacked him and sent him from the ring.
Segment 2
Lars Sullivan defeated Jeff Hardy by pinfall,
This was a pretty good match between the two, but in the end Sullivan’s size and poer were too much for Jeff.
Segment 3
The New Day had a touching and really cool exchange with each other about what they mean to one another over the years.
Segment 4
The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. Shunuske Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sheamus
This was a great match with Kingston in trouble on the floor as we headed to comemrcial.
Segment 5
This could be the match of the night as Woods and Big E hit a double team off he top rope on Sheamus for the pin.
Segment 6
Daniel Bryan came out and promoted the new Smakcdown wrestlers and matched and was interupted by Rollins who wanted to recruit him.
Byran refused and chased Rollins from the ring, but Rey and Dominik Mysterio came out, followed by Murphy.
Murphy attacked Rollins, but the Musterios refused his handshake,
Segment 7
Smackdown Tag Team Championship – The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) (c) vs. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler
This was a quick match that ended in a disqualification for the Street Profits, we think, after Ford attacked Roode after he saved a pin,
Segment 8
Smackdown Women’s Championship Contract Signing
This was a fun exchange between Bayley and Sasha Banks, but Bayley didn’t sign.
Banks then said she will sign it one way or another.
Segment 9
Universal Championship – Roman Reigns (c) (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Braun Strowman
The announcements were made before heading to comemrical.
Segment 10
The match started very physical as Reigns dominated early, but Strowman took control and sent Reigns over the barricade as we headed to commericla.
Segment
Reigns won with a guillotine submission in what was a better match than we expected.
Afterwards, Jey Use came out and Reigns beat Strowman with a steel chair, saying he didn’t want to do that to Jey.
Jey then hit Reigns with a right and a superkick before using the chair before offialcs pulled him away.
Reigns then hit a Superman Punch on Jey and left the ring.
Overall, the show was better than we expected, and the WWE went all out with everyone promoting the matches and even had various stars liek Ric Flair, Keith Lee, and others appear ont he Thunderdome screens.
