CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here and we’ve got some fresh spoilery goodness to spread around.
It looks like things are going to get interesting in Genoa City as everyone goes about their daily lives wondering about what’s happening.
It’s the perfect climate for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to learn about somebody’s secret, and we think it’s going to involve Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle) in some way.
Sure, they’ve called a truce, but how long will that last if Phyllis gains the upper hand?
She deserves to be able to hand it to Victoria, and we’re thinking the secret has got to be a juicy one. We can’t wait.
More than secrets are going to be flying as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will break a promise to someone she cares about, and it could lead to some fun times down the road.
Not to be outdone, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is going to continue his part of the investigation into who shot Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and he’ll uncover a revenge plot that may be pointed at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Who said things settle down in Genoa City?
Following the clues
Paul is one of the best police officers on daytime television, so it’s only a matter of time before he uncovers something or someone, and it looks like he’s not wasting any time on this one.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers love seeing him back in action, and it’s going to be an interesting storyline when he discovers the shooter may have been planning revenge on Adam.
That’ll mean Chance was shot by accident and it’ll upset a great many people but it could be what ends up saving Adam from himself.
The really bad part about this is we suspect the shooter will be none other than Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
Promises broken
Sharon’s been wrapped up in planning her wedding as well as he fears of her cancer coming back, so it’s expected that she’ll forget a promise here or there.
The catch here is we think she’ll learn that Faith is the one that shot Chance and she’ll feel that she broke her promise to her daughter to be there for her and protect her.
It’d be the prevalent thought in anyone’s mind if they find out their child tried to murder someone, but will this be it?
Sharon could simply feel guilty for her selfishness at pushing forward with the wedding at the expense of everyone else.
That’s not true, but she spends all of her time worrying about others before herself, so it’s a definite possibility and that could mean Faith won’t be the shooter.
