WWE Smackdown Results returned backstage as Kayla Braxton asked Owens if things got out of hand with Jey Uso, and he said that it did get out of hand.
He added that he has a bad habit of speaking his mind and if Jey, Reigns, and Heyman think of it is their problem.
He said he’s done very questionable things in his career, but no one made him do them. He’s his own man unlike Jey Uso and promised the beating to come is 100% Owens.
Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens
They tied up to start off, and Owens locked Jey in a side headlock, and then ran Jey over with a shoulder block off the ropes while Reigns and Heyman watched from backstage.
Owens locked in a rear waist lock, but Jey reversed it into an arm bar. Owen managed to lock in a side headlock again and then slammed Jey and hit with a senton for a near pinfall.
Jey pulled Owens into the ropes and Owens landed on the floor. Owens then got on the apron and caught Jey with a right hand.
Jey hung Owens up on the top rope while backstage, Reigns sent Heyman on a mission, possibly to the announce table.
Owens caught Jey’s suicide dive and threw him into the barricade and then hit with a splash off the apron as we headed to commercial.
Jey’s second wind
WWE Smackdown Results returned from commercial with both men back in the ring, and Jey in control.
Owens caught him with a kick off the ropes, and then slipped off Jey’s shoulder to hit a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Owens then climbed to the top rope but hesitated when he saw Heyman coming out. Jey took advantage of it to hit with a kick to knock Owens to the floor.
Jey hit a suicide dive that drove Owens into the barricade.
Heyman and Jey made eye contact, to which Heyman nodded and Jey slammed Owens’ face into the ring stairs
Both men rolled into the ring, and Jey stomped on Owens’ head, then hit with a superkick to drop Owens to the mat.
Jey pounded on Owens and then locked in a reverse chin lock.
Owens snapmared Jey off of him, then blocked Jey’s superkick and hit one of his own to but some time.
Jey missed a splash in the corner and hit the top of the ring post. Owens then hit him with another superkick and followed it with a cannonball.
Owens climbed to the top rope and hit a senton for a near pinfall.
Jey leapfrogged Owens’ powerbomb attempt and hit a superkick and a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Jey rolled to the apron, and climbed to the top rope.
Owens met him with a right hand. They exchanged rights before Jey jumped over Owens, and Owens hit a popup powerbomb for a pin attempt. Jey got his foot on the bottom rope.
Reigns’ music played, distracting everyone so Jey could hit a low blow headbutt on Owens. He followed it with a superkick and an Uso Splash for the win.
Jey shook hands with Heyman on the floor and headed up the ramp as Roman Reigns came out to meet them.
Their point was made. Friends are not blood; family is forever.
This was a pretty good show overall, but we were spoiled with that show stealing match between Sasha Banks and Bayley.
