‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’ve got some fun spoilery goodies ready to go.
It looks like we’re returning to another storyline that was on a kind of hiatus the last couple of weeks and it looks like there’s going to be some trouble brewing.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 9: Victor Reaffirms his Belief that Billy’s Guilty- Victoria Torments Phyllis
But of course, that’s to be expected when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is involved, and when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is added to the mix, it’s going to be something fun.
We expect Victoria to channel her father or pull one of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s old tricks out to use against Phyllis simply because Victoria wants to or can.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue to proclaim his innocence, but of course, Victor won’t agree with him and wont hesitate to pronounce Billy guilty and ready for execution.
It would be a fun song and dance if we hadn’t heard it a thousand times the last couple of weeks, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have a theory about what’s going to happen.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 9: Victor’s fall
With Victor working so hard to convince everybody that Billy is such a horrible person that needs to be punished for yet another thing he hasn’t done.
Remember when Victor claimed Billy was having an affair and used that as a way to push him and Victoria apart? There was no real evidence of that but Victor treated it as the truth.
In this case, we think Victor’s gone a step further and actually set Billy up.
With his daughter, Victoria, and a growing number of others including the police starting to believe Billy was set up, he could be skating on thin ice.
Add to that how Victoria wants to separate him from Newman Enterprises and the family could lead to a downfall he’s too arrogant to see coming.
While we think it’d be a cool storyline for him to have to rebuild at his age to topple his daughter and take back what’s his, we doubt it’ll go that far.
However, we could see him being arrested if there’s proof he did set Billy up, and that would be a fun storyline all its own.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 9: Victoria plays dirty
While Victoria’s actions aren’t known yet, we expect it to be something similar to what her father did or would do and for no reason more than because she wants to.
Like her father, Victoria is so busy looking for someone to fight she’s going to become lost in her own ambition.
In time, we expect her to ascend to Victor’s spot completely, but it’ll take pushing her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) away by going after Phyllis again and again.
At some point, something has to give, but will it be her or someone else?
