NBC “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers here, and we’ve got some fun spoilery goodies to help ring in the New Year in style.
Like many of us, the people of Salem can’t wait to usher out the old and bring in the new in a way only they are capable of.
Almost there
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has been doing a lot of moving and plotting the last couple of months, and she’s close to getting what she’s desired.
So, of course, something’s going to go horribly wrong for her, and it’s going to be glorious to watch.
What makes this even more fun is NBC “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers think it’s all going to unravel right under her nose.
It’ll start with a few fights to help her feel she’s winning, then a couple of seemingly small things will come to light.
One of those will come from Jake Lambert (Brandon Barish) as Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) drags a confession out of him about him sleeping with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Another will come when Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) arrives and spots Kate and Jack Deveraux (Mathew Ashford) talking.
Gwen will be ecstatic about this, but we have a feeling it won’t last long.
Jealousy game
Of course, what would a New Year’s party be without some massive jealousy, and for that it looks like Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will be on deck.
He deserves to have his feelings played with after what he’s done, but NBC “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers kinda feels sorry for him.
He’s like the rebound boyfriend/girlfriend that thought they stood a chance but never did. And seeing the woman of his dreams with another man will hurt like the dickens.
We expect it to be a fun exchange when he sees Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin)’s date is Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Talk about a gut shot.
Many happy cast returns
We wanted to close this one out with a really awesome feel good bit, and what better way to do that than by welcoming back Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) as he rejoins Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
We weren’t fans of them being let go from the show, or just Will appearing for the Christmas Eve segments, but it’s good to see them back and together again.
We may only get them for an episode or two, so we intend to enjoy them as much as we can.
