WWE Smackdown Results returned as a recap of Roman Reigns actions against Kevin Owens and Jey Uso last week were shown.
The camera switched to Reigns and Uso watching backstage and Jey asked him if he’s good.
Reigns said he’s good and asked about Jey and his family. Jey said they were and Reigns told him he should be.
Kevin Owens then headed to the ring while Jey asked Reigns to let him get Owens.
Reigns told him he knows where he is, so go get him. Meanwhile, Owens tossed some chairs, a table, and a ladder into the ring.
Owens then set them all up and grabbed a mic.
Owens then told Reigns he knew he’s watching and said he doesn’t fear Reigns even though Reigns is better than he’s ever been.
He added that he can relate to fighting for one’s family, but it seems to him that Reigns’ family is doing the fighting for him; he’s using them to fight his battles.
Owens said he knows Reigns can beat anyone in the WWE and that Owens needs all the help he can get to defeat him.
He added that his family supports him from watching from home, but he has some friends that’ll help him.
He then introduced the chairs and how they’ll help him pay Reigns back for what happened last week. He then introduced us to his second friend, the table.
Owens said the table is looking forward to receiving Reigns at TLC. Then it was the ladder’s turn and he said it’s the most difficult to work with, but it’s his favorite.
Owens said it’ll not only help him hurt Reigns, but it’ll also help get him back to there he belongs as Universal Champion.
Jey hit him with a steel chair and focused on Owens’ left knee with several chair shots. Jey then put him on the table and climbed to the top rope, but Owens hit him with a chair.
Owens hit him a couple more times and then drove Jey into the ladder before putting Jey through the table with a pop up power bomb.
Reigns came out with Paul Heyman at his side, but Owens kept calling him to enter the ring while holding the chair.
Heyman kept reminding Reigns that he’s the head of the table and to remind Owens he calls the shots.
Looks like the real mastermind behind Reigns is Heyman as he talked Reigns down from going after Owens.
Reigns and Heyman then headed to the back, and Owen followed them with a chair in hand.
Reigns strikes back
Backstage, Owens was looking for Reigns when Kayla Braxton stopped him and Owens ranted about what Reigns had said about his family.
Reigns attacked him from behind and threw him into a security gave then then storage shelves before pounding on him and asking him who Owens thinks supports his family.
Reigns kept hammering away as he lectured Owens, then introduced himself as the head of the table and tribal chief to Owens wife and told her if she and their kids didn’t talk sense into Owens, he’ll remove the food from the table.
The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan) vs. Billie Kay and Natalya
Riott started it off against Kay, and Kay locked in a side headlock.
Riott threw her off the ropes and Morgan tagged in and hit Kay with a dropkick, and then a reverse elbow in the corner.
Morgan flipped Riott into Kay for a near pinfall. Morgan then turned into a big boot by Kay, and Natalya came in and they double teamed Morgan in their corner.
After a kick and a slap, Natalya hit a snapmare and locked in a chin lock, but Morgan flipped her over to try to tag in Riott.
Natalya caught her and carried Morgan back to their corner and beat her down before hitting with a slam off the ropes.
Kay tagged herself in and Morgan kicked her into Natalya and scampered to tag in Riott while Kay and Natalya discussed the incidental contact.
Morgan hit Kay with a double knee and Riott hit with the Riott kick for the pin. Looks like Kay and Natalya have some kinks to work out.
This was the atypical Riott Squad match that feels like it’s over too quick. WWE Smackdown Results would really love to see them in longer matches to really show what they can do.
