‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here, and it looks like we’re in for a fun episode.
Genoa City is going to have some important decisions and choices being made that will shape storylines to come, and it has us stoked for the possibilities.
Of course, most of these aren’t surprises given the way the show works, but some of them may be surprising in how they work out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 5: Answering Adam’s call
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has learned the most important thing in Genoa City is that he’ll never get away.
It’s a Newman thing as he’s not allowed a second’s worth of pleasure and can’t leave his family no matter how it affects him.
And with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) suffering a stroke, he’s been forced to crawl back to Victor Newman (Eric Braden) to ask for help.
Victor won’t hesitate to help Adam, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he’s going to get the same doctors and specialists that refused to help Adam to help.
If this is the case, it brings up an interesting question as to whether they refused to help out of their own loyalty or if they were told to cut Adam off by Victor or someone else in the Newman family.
There’s no doubt Victor will use this as a teaching moment to show Adam he’ll always be there for him and since the situation undermined Adam’s attempt to break free, maybe they’ll finally bond.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 5: Amanda makes her decision
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been mulling over whether or not to call or approach her mom.
It’s possibly the most important personal of Amanda’s life so far, or at least it’ll feel like that, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’ll give her mom a call.
This will be the first step in what could be an emotionally charged storyline, especially if her mom agrees.
We’ve seen some great moments with her, but this one promises to be a top notch tear jerker. At least, it will be until she meets her mom face to face.
We’re curious to see if her mom will agree to meet her right away or if she’ll surprise Amanda with a visit later on.
