‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here, and we’re all set to jump into a new week that looks like it’s going to have some heartbreaking moments.
This is nothing new for daytime television, but some of these will probably hit harder than others given how much we love them.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers : Abigail dumps Chad
This has been coming for a while now as we’ve seen more and more of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)’s doubt in his wife’s commitment and honestly.
Those doubts and his apparent desire not to talk to Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) about anything about his day or talks she should be privy to led to him being easily swayed by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
One mistake after another led him into Gwen’s bed, and all of the firestarting fuel he spread around him is about to go up.
He’ll stress that they worked through their problems before, but Abigail won’t be having it.
She’s going to rip into him and let her built up frustration and pain cascade over him and break him down.
Chad’s stupidity earned him this moment, and it’s going to really suck for a lot of us as they’re an awesome couple.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers feels safe in saying they’ll work through it, but what if they don’t?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers : Gwen’s plan bears fruit
Of course, the above topic will be mainly thanks to Gwen and her efforts, but it looks like the final nail will come curtesy of her telling Abigail that Chad’s a talented lover.
Abigail will get some of the pound of flesh she wants, but we doubt it’ll be enough.
We’re thinking that Chad will break them up and that’s when Abigail will lay into him. Gwen will eat it up, but she probably shouldn’t stick around if she wants a long, healthy life.
Call it a hunch.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers : Claire’s suffering
With Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) arrested for his actions against Claire and potentially his mother, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will be going through some tough times.
She’s going to admit to Marlena Evans (Deirdre Hall) that she loves Charlie. This will rip her apart and we won’t be surprised if she struggles to remain stable and not revert to her old habits.
Fortunately, we think she’s grown and become strong enough that she’ll be able to resist those impulses, but she’ll still need some help.
Everyone does, and her family will be there for her. As will, we’re guessing, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) as a friend that could potentially become more down the road.
Until then, having some comfort food and tissues for this episode are a good idea.
