WWE Smackdown Results returned as Bryan hit a dropkick off the bat, then a couple of uppercuts and kicks before sending Nakamura off the ropes.
Bryan held the ropes open and Nakamura went out of the ring and Bryan hit a suicide dive through the ropes, then sent him back into the ring.
Nakamura caught Bryan off the top rope with a kick to the midsection, and then he hit Bryan with a suplex.
Bryan countered the kinsasha into a one legged Boston Crab, and then turned it into an ankle lock.
Bryan then hit a German suplex for a near pinfall.
Bryan hit some Yes! kicks, but Nakamura ducked the last one and connected with his own kick and then went for an arm bar.
Bryan got out of the hold and tried to lock in his own armbar and transitioned into a Yes Lock.
Nakamure struggled and reached the ropes to break the hold.
Bryan hit a couple of armbreakers, and then put Nakamura on the top rope, but Nakamura knocked him down and hit a kick for a near pinfall.
Nakamura hit a series of knees but missed a kick. Nakamura tried to roll him into an armbar, but Bryan rolled him over for a pin attempt to break the hold.
They traded kicks and strikes as Bryan forced Nakamura into a corner, and then hit a kick to Nakamura’s head.
Bryan hit a pair of running knees, but Nakamura hit him with a kinsasha on Bryan’s third attempt for the pin to move on to Adam Pearce.
It was good to see Bryan and Nakamura shake hands after their match, and it’ll be interesting to see how this could play out in the future.
Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman came out followed by a reluctant Adam Pearce.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Adam Pearce
Uso went after Nakamura, and then nReigns did the same before the bell rang.
They continued stomping Nakamura down. Uso hit a superkick and and Reigns with a Superman Punch.
Uso hit an Uso splash.
Reigns then threw Pearce into the ring and Uso hit him with a superkick.
Reigns motioned for the bell to ring and it did.
Uso then put Pearce on Nakamura and Reigns made the referee count the pin.
This is about what we expected and it was one of the worst endings possible.
