‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’ve got some spoilery goodies to share that are bound to lead to some fun times.
Time in Genoa City may move along like molasses in January, but they do have some fun moments that make it all worthwhile.
Of course, it helps they may be borrowing ideas from their sister show, “The Bold and the Beautiful” but that’s nothing new for any show.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 9: Jack and Sally grow closer
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has spent a few months trying to find the happiness his love life has been missing, and we think he’s found it.
Sure, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) isn’t what many would consider a good fit for him, but she does fit the type of woman he’s attracted to.
She’s feisty, stirs up trouble, and is headstrong in what she wants. She’s also arguably more determined to make something out of her life than others he’s been with.
The only problem is their relationship is still in the early stages.
But that’s okay as ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think they’ll be Y&R’s version of Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
They definitely check all the boxes, especially with Sally being at odds with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Sounds like a perfect match to us. Where to we send the wedding presents?
Yeah, we are getting ahead of ourselves as they’re still growing close, but we’re fairly positive this will be the end result and why not? Jack deserves some happiness after all these years.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 9: Kyle confesses his sins
It all started as a way for Summer to protect her job, and it’s turned into something that could destroy Kyle’s life if Summer follows her mom’s path and presses the issue.
Sure, Sally hasn’t been a saint and should probably be behind bars or in a mental institution. But that can be said for most of any soap opera cast.
We’re not forgiving her for what she did, but she’s been looking to start over and deserves that chance. The fact that Summer’s insecurity hasn’t allowed that to happen has helped things progress this far.
Because of that, we expect Kyle to come clean with Summer and admit he’s not fully sold on being a father, but he will be sold enough to ask her not to follow her desire to crush Sally.
We also expect Summer to live up to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s standards and go after Sally with both barrels in front of a dozen people, including Jack, and make things a thousand times worse.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Sally never uses her intel and Summer blurts both out in front of everyone?
Summer could get hurt in that fall off the ivory tower as could Kyle, but we think it’d be healthy for them if they’re allowed to fail.
Pretty much along the lines of what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told Jack to do in regards to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) not so long ago.
