Impact Wrestling Preview hates to admit it, but Fire ‘n Flava Fest wasn’t as much fun as we expected for a number of reasons, and it didn’t help Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan that party crashers took over.
It started as a celebration for their winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championship, but Steelz and Hogan quickly lose the interest of those in attendance, but that wasn’t the worst part.
Havok and Nevaeh (the latter in a Stay Puff Marshmallow Man costume) crashed the party and quickly cleared the ring to show they had no intention of going anywhere.
In a feud that’s lasted in one way or another since shortly after Nevaeh’s arrival in Impact Wrestling, the next chapter is set for tonight as Steelz will take on Havok in singles action.
This is going to be a fun one we expect Havok to win simply because, well, she’s Havok. The Kaiju Queen doesn’t lose often and we don’t see her starting tonight.
Still, Steelz is a top tier talent and she’ll give Havok everything she cane handle, plus Hogan will be outside the ring ready to do her part to cement her partner’s win.
Nevaeh will back up Havok, and we expect her to be more involved in keeping Hogan in her place, through Hogan slippery enough to find a way to intervene no matter what.
This is one of those matches where it’s best to sit back and grab some popcorn and enjoy.
Larry D w/Acey Romero vs. Crazzy Steve w/Rosemary
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Larry D in action, and he wasted no time in getting into a fight since gaining his freedom thanks to Acey Romero’s detective work.
While Taya Valkyrie will serve 2 years with an option of 3 in Boston, Jacksonville State Prison, and Stamford’s Maximum Security Prison for shooting John E. Bravo, Larry’s been working through a few things.
The biggest is to get back at who he perceives as causing his trouble, though Valkyrie admitted. Crazzy Steve did cause a little mayhem here and there, but nothing major that we know of.
But it’s a good way for Larry to get back into the swing of things by taking on one half of Decay.
While Larry’s teammate and best friend Romero will be in his corner, Rosemary, Steve’s partner and half of Decay, will be in Steve’s corner.
This will lead to some interesting interactions outside the ring between her and Romero, but we’re curious how this match will go. Neither competitor are a slouch, so this should be a good match.
Normally we’d go with Larry, but Steve has rediscovered his dark side and will be more dangerous than in recent memory.
Will Larry win in his return match, or will Steve steal his glory? Let Impact Wrestling Preview know in the comments below.
